The Full Story

About

The heart and inspiration for Tie Dyed in Christ began when Zach wanted to financially support his missionary friends from college but was so tight on money that he could only support them in prayer (still important!). Zach's wife Amanda convinced him that he should make a podcast/YouTube channel, so after a few years he finally decided to combine his favorite hobby with his Christian faith: Tie Dyed in Christ was born! The shirts that Zach makes in each episode are for sale above in the shop. The profits from the sales will go to support the two missionary families below-- longtime friends of Zach! Read more about them on their "support site" linked in each bio.

I encourage you to pray over being a longtime financial and prayer partner with them!

Missionaries Asa and Suz Bartos

God has called Asa and Suz to encourage the Latin American church to full maturity and equip them with training and resources that are inaccessible or lacking. We long to see Latin Americans multiply leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.

Asa is passionate about teaching and counseling others and hopes to assist in planting churches, encouraging pastors, and counseling families, especially husbands and fathers. He is pursuing further ministry education in the realm of biblical counseling. Both he and Suz love music and expect this will always be a part of their ministry in some capacity.

Suz has a full-time discipleship ministry as a mother of three, but also hopes to provide education and encouragement for mothers seeking hope at prenatal clinics. Eventually, she would like to help churches start prenatal clinics in places that do not have access to one.

Missionaries Chris and Paola Frey

International Christian School Lima is a very diverse campus with students from around the world. Chris is the high school English teacher and current campus chaplain. Pray for continued opportunities to share the gospel in this unique avenue of ministry.

Paola has a degree in special needs education and saw a need for in-person and virtual tutoring in our area of Lima, especially when schools were shut down during the pandemic. She was able to launch “School House con Pao” for Pre-K and special needs students. Please pray for opportunities to share the gospel as friendships are built with these families and for the business to continue to grow and reach more families. Paola continues to run “School House con Pao” along with serving as part of the staff team at church, helping in Sunday School, and being a full-time mom.
